Start with engineering questions
A serious manufacturer asks about route length, width, surface, slope, turning area, passenger flow, daily operation, climate and local rules before recommending a model. A supplier that selects only from a photo or seat count may miss braking, clearance, charging, rail or station constraints.
Verify current evidence
Request the current model sheet, factory and assembly records, test procedure, drawings, material or component details relevant to the project, certificate scope and acceptance criteria. Verify that photos, certificates and specifications describe the company and model being quoted, not an unrelated product.
Put delivery and support into the contract
Define configuration, approved drawings, production milestones, inspection, packing, freight boundary, unloading, installation, training, spare parts, manuals, warranty basis, response route and local approval responsibility. Clear acceptance criteria and change control reduce more risk than a low headline price.
