Define the operating job
Decide whether the train mainly moves visitors between zones, creates a paid ride, supports guided sightseeing or combines all three. That decision changes the route length, station plan, seating target, dispatch interval, accessibility and visual theme.
Design the route around people
Map queues, stroller and wheelchair access, emergency routes, pedestrian crossings, blind corners, gradients, turning space and boarding areas. Separate the train path from dense foot traffic where possible and confirm the local operating and inspection rules.
Choose capacity, power and theme together
Use peak passengers per hour and dispatch interval to estimate formation, then check turning radius, gradient, charging or refueling, noise, climate protection and daily service time. Treat the theme as part of visibility and maintenance, not a substitute for a route-compatible technical configuration.
